Delta Unisaw Bullet Motor Commutator Necklace Shorting Spring New Replacement

Description

New necklace springs or commutator shorting springs for old Unisaw Bullet motors! These brand new necklace springs are available for the first time to replace the springs that often wear and stretch in older Delta Unisaw table saws, causing a lack of power or sparking and stalling. These springs will fit 1 hp and 3/4 hp 1750 rpm bullet motors, and may fit other styles as well that take a 6" circumference spring. These springs have been tested in 3/4 hp and 1 hp bullet motors and perform excellently, allowing the commutator to short out evenly and quickly at the correct RPM. The last photo shows the style of motor that takes these springs in an instructional illustration.
If you're running or restoring an older Unisaw it's worth having a spare spring on hand or changing it out while you have the saw apart as many of the original springs have become brittle from age and overheating.
