Guillermo Forchino creates funny sculptures with a happy sense of fun and color. With the exaggeration of caricature, this comic sculpture magnifies our flaws to create humorous characters that we all recognize and in which we see something of ourselves.
His work is recognized worldwide through a collaboration with VMM in the Netherlands, who only produce limited edition replicas of their collection, created with the same details as the original works. All replicas are handmade and carefully hand-painted, often supervised and controlled by Mr. Forchino himself. This collection was called "The Comical Art of Guillermo Forchino".
Forchino chose poly resins to create characters and scenes based on the world of comic and cartoon characters. They are usually unusual and humorous subjects in which the characters are always treated with humor and finesse and have real personalities.
