  • Condition: Lovely variety of hankies, including vintage floral prints, whites, Christmas, embroidery, lace, applique, scalloped / crocheted / tatted / hand-rolled edges, monogram, travel, Victorian & mid-century designs.. Many never used (a few have their original tags and/or are signed- Jeou d'Orly Paris, Tammis Keefe, Lady Heritage/Madiera. There are also a few with unique themes (please see description). Cotton, linen,silk, nylon. All are square. Good vintage condition, but a few do have light stains, and a few do have some minor wear to edges. A (very) few, if any, might be considered cutter/craft (may have small holes). All nicely folded. All very clean, with no perfume odors. Great for crafting, resale, or personal use! NOTE: there are some shadows on the photos from an overhead light- these are not stains.

    Lot of 130 Vtg Hankies- Florals, Embroidery,Tatting,Crochet Edges++1940s-60s Era.
    Lovely variety of hankies, including vintage floral prints, whites, Christmas, embroidery, lace, applique, scalloped / crocheted / tatted/ hand-rolled edges, monogram, travel, Victorian & mid-century designs..  Many never used (a few have their original tags and/or are signed- Jeou d'Orly Paris (2), Tammis Keefe (1), Lady Heritage/Madiera (1). There are also a few with unique themes (please see below, and last photo for closeups of a few).  Cotton, linen, silk, nylon.  All are square.  The white ones all have embroidery, appliques, and/or crocheted (or) tatted (or) lace edges (ie, none are just plain).
    Ones with unique designs and/or markings include
    :
    - Signed Jeou d'Orly (2); original tags attached (older China tags)
    - Signed Tammis Keefe (1)
    - Lady Heritage / Madiera with original tag intact (1)
    - 4 Christmas (embroidered designs)
    - 1 green silk/lace edges with "Royal Engineers" emblem patch (note: the patch is partially detached; needs to be tacked on again)
    - 1 off-white silk/lace edges with "Souvenir de France" and France/USA flags embroidered (note: the pigment from the embroidered design has made a mark on the other side of the hanky).
    - 1 "Danmark" (some running to red embroidery)
    - 1 blue satin (?), Crystal Beach Canada with flags (appears to be silk-screened)
    - 1 Chicago, with vintage city graphics
    - 1 hand-painted nylon, Niagara Falls Canada
    - 1 Windsor Canada
