    Nantucket-style Basket Handwoven Split Ash Walnut Stain
    This lovely basket is woven of split ash in the style of Nantucket weavers, but since I don’t have the specifics, I cannot confirm that it was made in Nantucket. The woven sides have the rich honey patina of aged split ash, and the top edge is solid wood-wrapped for sturdy use. Small brass nails that add to the durable form can be seen as well.
    The basket is mounted on walnut-stained wood.
    The basket measures 7" to the top of the handle, it has a 3 1/2" opening, is 4" tall mounted on a 2 ½” base.
    The weight is 2 ounces. The whole piece is in splendid condition.
