    2-part Souvenir Badge
    from the 38th
    National
    Encampment of the
    G.A.R.
    in Boston, MASS. (August 15, 1904).
    You can see it is in exceptional condition with two brightly colored American flags
    draped down around the circular center having the 5-Pont
    G.A.R
    . Symbol and name.
    2 1/8" overall length, 1 7/16" maximum width.
    Maker is
    C.M. Robbins Company
    of Attleboro, MASS.
    I have not seen another like this (dual flags, especially bright center) of the many such badges out there, so I consider it very rare.
