RIDGID introduces the Single-Paddle Mixer. This Single-Paddle Mixer offers SOFTStart Technology to avoid splashing and save motor life. Less mess means more time working and less time cleaning up as well as saving money on a durable motor. The variable speed dial allows users to easily adjust the speed to application during manual use and robust design will limit the vibration for less fatigue to the user when operating. This single-paddle mixer has 11 amps and 800 RPM with a 5/8 in. keyed chuck, the mixer will work with more than just the common paddles. Backed by the Industry Leading Lifetime Service Agreement, the Single-Paddle Mixer includes the paddle, a chuck key, and an operator's manual.

Great tool. Soft start is great takes the torque away from your wrist. The speed dial control is nice allowing you to start slow while pouring in materials ( keeping the dust down) and then you are able to increase speed to mix properly. Much better than the drill we used before. Crew loves it.

I had a job that required mixing a bunch of concrete mortar and grout. In the past, I've just used an electric 1/2” drill to do the job. This is also how I've managed to burn up 2 DeWalt ½” drills. I was skeptical that this would be worth the price tag, but so far, I'm impressed. It has a speed selector thumb wheel that makes it easy to turn down the RPMs to keep from splashing everything out of your bucket, and a trigger lock to save your fingers from fatigue. The paddle has a two piece shaft, so it's able to be stored in smaller spaces. My only wish is that it had a reverse option.

We do industrial epoxy flooring. A few weeks ago we had a large product involving mixing large amounts of epoxy slurry(epoxy and sand). We have a rigid dual paddle mixer and stand, as well as a German made single paddle. The German machine was damaged while we were unloading, so we went to the local home depot to get one of these, hoping it would at least last through the job. Happy to report that it not only survived, but had no issues at all (the 2 piece paddle is crap and stripped out fast but the machine is great.) for the money its hard to beat. We have a trigger issue on the dual paddle mixer so we just hit a preset and it does the job. Again, for the money i would recommend both.

Well built ... RIDGID tough. Can’t believe I waited so long to buy this. Forget the old drill for your next mix and use this instead. Even if you have a super-powerful drill, it’s not about the power — it’s about the ergonomics of the steering wheel design. I no longer dread mixing up mortar for my home projects ... it’s actually fun (strangely)!
