These are made from the same material used to make custom forms in metal cases for sensitive electronics equipment. You can cut them to fit your application, whether it's making foam forms for a gun or camera case, wrapping them around glass items to protect during transport, making your own padded paintball jacket or pants liners, cutting out shapes for craft projects, making base feet for heavy items to protect your countertops and tables... There's probably a million uses for these pads!
This stack of pads measures 10" x 5.5" x 2.5" thick.
You can remove pads from the stack, reducing the  stack in 1/4" thick increments, and cut them anyway you like. This allows you to have items of multiple thicknesses in one case. An Exacto knife works really well for cutting intricate lines to make form-fitting case inserts.
They're really excellent as packing material for shipping as well. They absorb shocks and protect fragile items. They're nearly weightless at just 10 grams each.
The original intended use for these pads was to line the knee-pockets of military combat pants. (slip-in Knee pads).
