    Description

    Up for auction is a vintage 2 5/8" medallion or medal recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  It is offered in good condition, no longer with a presentation case.  We believe it to have been a school award.  One side reads "For God and Country".  Embossed military figures from earlier wars adorn the front.  Back reads American Legion School Award, Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship, Service.  Well made, unsigned.  Tarnished.  Believed bronze or brass.
    Would benefit from a proper cleaning.
