Vintage Burgess & Leigh England Indian Tree Serving Platter

Description

Vintage Burgess & Leigh England serving platter in the Indian Tree pattern measures 12-1/4" long x 10" wide x approx. 3/4" deep. Marked on bottom, "Indian, Burgess & Leigh, England" and embossed mark that we cannot make out.
This is a used piece and shows significant signs of wear and use.
No chips or cracks, but heavy and highly visible crazing in multiple spots on front and back sides. Heavy wear to black-tone rim in many spots, where black tone has worn away completely in many places. 1" brown spot of discoloration on front side at corner, and approx. 4" brown spot of discoloration along back side at outer rim around one of the corners. Visible scratches and utensil marks, and visible fading and wear to image. Two spots that are slightly rough to the touch around top outer rim, approx. 1/4" each, and visible scuffing in multiple spots to back side.
